Bold Headquarters Built to Drive Impact

Where Innovation, Community, and Design Converge

In Layton, Utah, the Young Automotive Group Headquarters stands as a powerful symbol of what’s possible when innovation meets execution. Designed and constructed by Hughes General Contractors, this 152,000-square-foot facility unites corporate leadership, warehouse operations, and a philanthropic center under one striking roof.

The three-story, Class A office space is paired with a 100,000-square-foot warehouse and a 180-seat auditorium—each element thoughtfully integrated to reflect the Young brand’s forward-thinking ethos. But what truly sets this project apart is the bold architectural expression achieved through tilt-up concrete construction. The building’s exterior panels lean outward at an 8-degree angle, creating a dynamic visual profile that’s as functional as it is iconic.

Despite being built during a national concrete shortage, Hughes delivered a structure that not only met but exceeded expectations. Their team’s ability to maintain exceptional craftsmanship—especially on exposed concrete surfaces—speaks to their deep expertise and relentless attention to detail.

Inside, the same tilt-up panels are featured as interior design elements, blurring the line between structure and style. The result is a space that feels cohesive, modern, and unmistakably high-end. Every square foot was designed with purpose, from the collaborative office zones to the specialty shops and philanthropic spaces that support the company’s community mission.

This headquarters isn’t just a building—it’s a landmark. A place where business, logistics, and community intersect. And it’s a testament to Hughes General Contractors’ ability to turn complex challenges into elegant, enduring solutions.
