The Ben Lomond High School Athletic Center is a comprehensive renovation and expansion project that redefines athletic facilities for Ogden City students. The new complex includes three gymnasiums, a weight room, wrestling room, running track, classrooms, offices, locker rooms, and a 105,000-square-foot field house replacement. Constructed using tilt-up concrete, steel, and masonry, the facility also features a new baseball and softball field, concessions, scoring tower, and bleachers. The demolition of the existing field house and extensive site improvements were carefully executed to support the new design.
Designed to support all boys’ and girls’ athletic programs, the center reflects a major investment in student health and well-being. The collaboration between Hughes General Contractors and their project partners resulted in a highly functional, visually striking facility that will serve generations of students.
