The approximately 80,000-square-foot ThermoWorks facility combines two levels of Class A office space with a high-performance warehouse designed for product storage, fulfillment, research and development, quality control, customer support, and training. The building brings the company’s technical and operational teams together in a modern headquarters tailored to the precision temperature-instrumentation business.

Integrally colored white and gray tilt-up concrete panels create a crisp, distinctive exterior that will never require paint. Producing the smooth, exposed white concrete demanded tightly controlled batching, forming, and protection, while insulated sandwich panels help stabilize interior temperatures. Daylighting and energy-efficient LED lighting further reduce energy use throughout the office and warehouse.

Concrete flooring extends the building’s durable architectural expression indoors. Polished floors provide an economical, flexible finish in the office, while Hughes’ reduced-joint warehouse slab dramatically expands the spacing between saw cuts. With fewer joints to curl, chip, and wear under forklift traffic, the floor provides a smoother surface that supports safer, more efficient product movement and long-term performance.
