Salem Hills High School

Salem, UT

The Salem Hills High School is a two-story 245,000-square-foot load-bearing masonry facility on a 79-acre lot. The school was constructed on registered wetlands that could not be disturbed nor contaminated during the construction process. The sensitivity of the wetlands meant the installation of a multi-tiered storm drainage system to divert the underground water around the building and redirect the water to the wetlands.
