The Dry Creek Transfer Station is a 132,000-square-foot Environmental Recovery Facility serving seven communities across Utah County. Built to replace an aging facility, it processes over 1,600 tons of municipal solid waste daily and includes dedicated zones for residential and commercial drop-off, recycling, and hazardous materials. A standout feature is the 108,000-square-foot trash-handling area constructed with tilt-up concrete panels spanning up to 250 feet, an exceptional clear span that ensures durability, low maintenance, and resilience under heavy equipment traffic. This strategic use of tilt-up concrete throughout the building enhances both structural integrity and operational efficiency.

Community-focused amenities include an exchange program for reusable household products and educational outreach spaces. With its forward-thinking design and robust performance, Dry Creek sets a new benchmark for solid waste infrastructure; balancing sustainability, safety, and public engagement.
