Odyssey Elementary School

Woods Cross, UT

Odyssey Elementary School was designed around the architectural theme “Bodies in Motion: the Animal Kingdom.” Various elements around the school symbolize the motions of flying, swimming, running, springing, etc. There are four groups of classrooms—colored red, orange, blue, and green—each with a corresponding motion: run, jump, swim, and fly. These design elements are prevalent throughout the school. Odyssey Elementary School is a net-zero facility and has successfully become one of the greenest, most energy-efficient public schools in the state.
